Polycarbonate offers an attractive combination of mechanical strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability—but depending on the application, manufacturers may seek lower-density, cost-optimized or more process-efficient alternatives.

Sudarsshan's PC replacement compounds use engineered polyolefin matrices combined with advanced coupling systems, impact modifiers and precision filler reinforcement to deliver a tailored balance of performance and processing.

Non-Halogenated Flame-Retardant Compounds

For electrical, electronic and industrial applications, flame retardancy is critical to product and installation safety. At the same time, manufacturers are increasingly looking for alternatives that can deliver reliable flame performance without relying on halogen-based flame-retardant systems.

Sudarsshan's non-halogenated flame-retardant (NHFR) compounds are engineered to deliver a balance of flame resistance, thermal performance, electrical properties and processability, while helping minimize concerns associated with halogen-containing materials.

CONDUCTIVE COMPOUNDS

Electrical and electronic applications increasingly require materials that can provide controlled electrical conductivity, static dissipation or electromagnetic shielding while retaining the mechanical and processing characteristics required of the polymer.

Sudarsshan develops conductive compounds using precision-dispersed conductive fillers, including carbon black and, where required, advanced carbon-based technologies.

Coupling Agents for HFFR

Halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) compounds are increasingly used in wire, cable and optical-fibre applications where flame performance, low smoke and reduced corrosive emissions are important.

The high filler loading commonly required in HFFR formulations can create challenges around polymer-filler adhesion, mechanical properties, processability and surface quality.
