Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven MIS Executive based at our head office in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) with 2–4 years of experience in data management, operational reporting, and business analytics within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In this central analytical role, you will be responsible for consolidating, maintaining, and analyzing operational and commercial data across all business verticals. You will build daily, weekly, and monthly management dashboards—spanning sales performance, plant production outputs, raw material procurement costs, inventory turns, and customer fulfillment metrics—to enable data-backed decision-making for executive leadership and department heads.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & ERP Operations

- ERP Data Maintenance: Oversee accuracy, integrity, and timely entry of sales orders, production logs, inventory movements, and procurement data within the ERP system.
- Database Management: Maintain and clean master databases (customer records, vendor details, product grade codes, bill of materials, and pricing matrices) to ensure a single source of truth across operations.
Report Generation & Executive Dashboards
- Periodic MIS Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering production yields, plant capacity utilization, sales turnover by segment, raw material consumption, and outstanding receivables.
- Variance Analysis: Track actual performance against monthly/quarterly targets and budgets, flagging cost overruns, production bottlenecks, or sales dips to department leads.
- Cross-Functional Analytics: Collaborate with Sales, Purchase, R&D, Quality Control, and Finance teams to compile custom analytical reports and operational KPIs.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Report Automation: Streamline manual reporting processes by developing automated MS Excel models, macros, or BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) to reduce reporting lead times.
- Inventory & Order Tracking: Monitor raw material stock levels, finished goods dispatch logs, and slow-moving inventory to support supply chain planning and working capital optimization.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA), Commerce (B.Com), Statistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience as an MIS Executive, Data Analyst, or Reporting Specialist in a manufacturing, compounding, chemical, or industrial enterprise.
Technical & Functional Competencies
- Advanced MS Excel Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables & Charts, Power Query, Data Validation, conditional formatting, and basic VBA/Macros).
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (SAP, MS Dynamics, Tally Prime, or proprietary manufacturing ERPs).
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in preparing clean, executive-ready PowerPoint decks and reports; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills & Orientation
- Exceptionally strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, handle large datasets under tight deadlines, and maintain data confidentiality.
